Chord Finder is a browser tool. The notes you play or type are matched on your device and never leave it.

What we process

Nothing you enter is sent anywhere. Note names you type, keys you click, and the matching results are computed by JavaScript running in your browser. There are no user accounts, no server-side processing and no storage: when you close or reload the page, the notes are gone.

Analytics and advertising

This site currently loads no analytics, tracking or advertising scripts. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first — and the notes and key sequences you enter will remain excluded from any analytics collection, because they never leave your browser in the first place.

Audio playback

Sound is synthesized on your device with the Web Audio API. No audio files are downloaded and nothing you hear or play is recorded.

Changes to this policy

If the site adds features that change what data is handled, this policy will be updated and dated below.
